Kid at heart...

I have discovered squishables. Big ones, mini ones... Basically, big/little round balls of squishable fluff, waiting to be hugged!

I'm not sure how I discovered them. I think, like most things, I stumbled across them while doing a bit of random googling. All I know is that I fell in love, and that was it. Sadly, no Australian retailers stock these squishy bundles of joy, and postage costs are pretty high for something that big. But find the right one, and they are soooo worth it!

I have a mini squishable Phoenix, Henry - also known as Henry, the Mythical Fire Chicken. I also have a mini Android, and I was lucky enough to get a full sized squishable wolf before the Squishables site sold the last of them. Now, I am awaiting the arrival of a full sized squishable snail - my new muse, perhaps, given that I am so slow in updating my stories!

Lord, I really am just a big kid at heart. I'm happy to admit that I love these things, though, and I fervently believe that having something to hug when life gets to be too much can be a real life-saver. A little bit of comfort can go a long, long way, and squishy inanimate objects that don't expect anything in return is truly something to be treasured.
