Apparently they are re-casting Jack, but it's a much younger, pre-immortal Jack. That piece of information first was seen on IMDb, which you know can be changed by pretty much anyone, and the rumor has taken off since then. As far as I know it hasn't been actually confirmed, but I could be wrong.
