Ash is really a nice guy underneath for as much as he likes to try to hide it under his tough facade. I guess he's a lot like Jack in that respect, except Jack's is more for self-preservation. I'm glad he was able to put Jack to sleep while he heals to spare him the pain. That Artemis is one evil bitch.

The relationship between the Doctor and Savitar is interesting to say the very least. I'd love to hear the story behind that. For now, it's enough that Savitar straightened the Doctor out on Jack and is willing to do whatever he has to to protect both him and Ianto.
