Well, after much fluffing around, I have managed to book tickets for the London and Cardiff John Barrowman concerts. I'll be in row J at the Palladium, in approximately the centre, and in Block 2, row P at the Cardiff venue. I am a very happy little vegemite indeed!
The seats aren't exactly front row, but I don't really care. I will be about the 10th row back at London, and approximately the 16th row back at Cardiff. In both instances, I think I should have a pretty good view of everything and everyone on stage, without having to crane my neck looking up.
All in all, it's a very satisfactory outcome, given that this really is likely to be a once in a lifetime experience for me. I feel like my adventure has already begun, and there is still seven and a half months to go!
