What you're thinking of is a segment of fic that I posted to the AGA, as a preview of what was to come in this particular 'verse - and a reassurance that Gwen was not going to be treated like the be-all-and-end-all that she's been allowed to think she is in the actual show. That snippet of fic will most likely turn up in my *very* alternative version of "Cyberwoman".
Gwen is not going to be the lost cause she is in the show, but she is still highly prone to making foolish assumptions that will get her into much trouble with Jack....
