Not Amused....

So, I was planning to go to the cinema this weekend and see The Woman In Black. I've heard mixed reviews, but was quite happy to judge for myself. Apparently it's a bit of a slow burn horror/thriller, and that is right up my alley.

So what happens? Both cinemas in the town where I live ceased showing the damn film a week and a half after it started. No explanation, no warning. They simply stop screening it right before the long weekend.

I'm sure I don't need to say how annoyed I am. Anyway, I figured, what the hell. I'd just go ahead and order it from Amazon. Right? Wrong. Neither Amazon US nor Amazon UK will ship the DVD to Australia, either through the main site or from any of the marketplace sellers.

Now I am genuinely pissed off. I just want to see this damn filmm, but everything seems to be conspiring against me. Yes, I might be able to get a copy through eBay, but I'd be looking at paying upwards and beyond $35, and that's a little more than I can justify.

So I am going to sit and sulk for a while, and then go and try finish typing up the next chapter/s of Different Shade of Darkness.

I've bought almost all my Torchwood novel from here (I think it's a NZ based company) and I received them very quickly.

ARGH that would be so annoying - maybe some other places might have it? Like idk Barnes & Noble, or Best Buy - I have no idea if those places ship to Australia but there have to be other online sellers that do.
