...for all the lovely birthday wishes I've received. :D
I'm having a pretty good weekend, considering that one of my darling nephews decided my birthday was a good day to go behind his grandparents' backs and get his gorgeous red hair dyed jet black. I don't think he realises how much it looks like someone has just spray painted his head with black lacquer. Still, he has to live with it, and it's going to look particularly interesting as his hair grows.
The kid is going to end up looking like a Richmond Tigers fanboy.
But I digress. I went to beading class today, and thoroughly enjoyed learning to make beaded roses, and then I went for a nice peppermint hot chocolate and cheesecake with friends.
Tomorrow, I go shopping with my folks - just got to be home in time to get to the dentist for my six-monthly check-up. Bleugh... On the bright side, I have Tuesday off work as well as Monday, so the good news is that tomorrow night I intend to knuckle down and finish typing up the first chapter of the new story in my "What Never Should Be" universe. It follows the "Day One" scenario - with some notable differences, title pending.
Anyway, that is my update. It's 1.30am, I'm stupidly watching the men's final of Wimbledon, knowing full well that I will probably have to share in the driving tomorrow. I really, really need to go to bed.
Promise to have something posted in the next couple of days, barring an act of God. Touch wood.
